Spirit of Christmas Angel Volunteers!
We are grateful for our angels out there and look forward to working with you again this year. It’s because our volunteers care so deeply, are so dedicated and participate with such spirited enthusiasm, this program is a success every year!!!
We are very excited for this 2022 upcoming Christmas season! We are in need help in many areas.
Our volunteer schedule starts October 1st with organizing the center for the Spirit of Christmas season and is scheduled tentatively through Dec 20th, which may change (cancelled, if we finish early or extended, if necessary).
**All volunteers must sign up so we can be certain that we have space for all.
~ All volunteers must be 14 years old or older.
This sign up is organized by dates, please scroll to the dates you are available and search the areas you are interested in to sign up! (You can also view this sign up in a calendar format, the calendar view button is located to the right side of the blue header bar of the sign up) Click on the link below to select a time & day which is best for you:
Please be sure to include your email and cell phone so we can contact you if there are any last minute changes and PLEASE check your email before coming to your shift/s.
Also, many reserved times for Gift Wrappers – Large Volunteer groups are available. If you are a group of 12-16 people that can help wrap gifts, please feel free to select a date/time that has been specially held for large groups in the ‘Gift Wrappers – Large volunteer groups’ section.
We are always in great need of clothing boxes, spools of tape (to fit into desk top dispensers) and wrapping paper. We greatly appreciate if you can bring in any of these items when you volunteer.
**Interested in sponsoring a child? Please email SpiritofChristmas@friendsoffosterkids.org to request a child’s wish list.
If you sponsored a child’s wish list, we ask that you please bring in your gifts earlier, from October 15th to November 20th, due to the lower number of volunteers to process and wrap the gift’s due to the pandemic, even if you are volunteering at a later date. Thank you!**
